Government."  This will be a great
presentation so plan to attend.  The
meeting is at the Nokomis Community
Center, 234 Nippino Trail, Nokomis
and begins at 6:45 PM.

DO YOU REMEMBER THE IRAN HOSTAGE CRISIS OF 1979?

On November 4th, 1979 a group of Islamist students and militants took over the
American Embassy in Tehran in support of the Iranian Revolution and took 52
American hostages for 444 days.

One of those citizens, Mr. Cortland Barnes, has agreed to come to Venice to tell his
story.  Mr. Barnes will speak on March 31st, at 7 PM at the Venice Nokomis ELKS
Lodge.  The lodge is located just minutes from I-75 at exit 195. MAP

The cost of this event is $10 per person and will be a GREAT presentatio
